Introduction
In the first six months of 1938, my great-grandmother Millie wrote every day in her little five-year diary. She mostly wrote about weather, what she did throughout the day, and what time she woke up and went to bed. She also focused a lot on her boyfriend Kenny, whom she would later marry. I have compiled those six months of writings into a more cohesive story divided into chapters, and added a few paragraphs at the end based on the information given to me by my father and grandfather and found on familysearch of what happened after she finished writing in the diary.
